# Terms of Service **Last updated: 22 June 2026** These Terms govern your use of "World Cup 2026" (the "Bot"), a Discord bot that posts public World Cup football match events to a channel of your choice. ## Acceptance By adding the Bot to a Discord server, or by using its commands, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not add or use the Bot. ## The service The Bot posts public match events (goals, red cards, kick-off, full-time, and similar) sourced from a third-party data provider. A server administrator chooses the destination channel with `/setup`, can check the current setting with `/status`, and can stop alerts with `/stop`. The Bot is provided free of charge, **"as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind**. Event data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice. ## Acceptable use You agree to use the Bot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You must not attempt to abuse, disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Bot or its infrastructure. ## No affiliation The Bot is an independent project. It is **not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, Discord Inc., or any football organisation**. All trademarks and logos are the property of their respective owners. ## Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of the Bot is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Bot. ## Termination You may stop using the Bot at any time with `/stop` or by removing it from your server. The operator may suspend or discontinue the Bot, in whole or for any server, at any time. ## Changes These Terms may be updated; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Bot after a change constitutes acceptance.
